Welcome
WELCOME to Boy Scout Troop 22!
We have been serving the Unionville and surrounding communities since 1924 conferring the rank of Eagle to over 175 young men.
Boy Scouting, one of the traditional membership divisions of the BSA, is available to boys who have earned the Arrow of Light Award or have completed the fifth grade and are at least 10, but not yet 18 years old. The program achieves the BSA's objectives of developing character, citizenship, and personal fitness.
Character: The development of initiative, courage, and resourcefulness; respect for all people; and a desire to help others and give leadership to society.
Citizenship: To develop the sense of cheerful service to others, to one's community and country.
Fitness: The development of physical, mental and emotional fitness, including activities to nurture thinking, problem-solving and self-control.
The vision of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare every eligible youth in America to become a responsible, participating citizen and leader who is guided by the Scout Oath and Law.
The mission of the Boy Scouts of America...
to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
